Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

NumDojo is designed for learners ages 8–18. We take children's privacy seriously and comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

For Users Under 13

Before collecting any personal information from a child under 13, we require verifiable parental consent. During registration, users who indicate they are under 13 will be guided through our parental consent process.

Information We Collect from Children

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our educational service: a username, parent's email address (for consent), and learning progress data (lessons completed, quiz scores, practice statistics).

What We Don't Do

  • We do not allow direct messaging between users under 13
  • We do not display personal information on public leaderboards for users under 13 (usernames only)
  • We do not use children's data for advertising
  • We do not share children's data with third parties except as required by law

Parent's Rights

Parents and guardians have the right to: review their child's personal information; request deletion of their child's account and data; revoke consent at any time; and contact us with any concerns. Visit your Parent Portalto manage your child's account.
